The Asus TUF Gaming RTX 3060 V2 OC Edition 12GB has been removed and built back up to provide more robust power and cooling. Fan rotation is optimized for low turbulence, and a one-stop mode stops all three fans at low temperatures. Additional features including TUF components, Auto-Xtreme technology, and backplate vents make the TUF a proper powerhouse. The heat spreader draws heat into heat pipes that move it through a fin stack that fills most of the card’s large, 2.7-slot footprint.
The brand new Asus TUF Gaming Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 V2 OC Edition 12GB GDDR6 Graphics Card delivers the ultimate game, with advanced second-generation ray tracing cores and third-generation tensor cores with greater throughput. TUF gaming cards take advantage of our tried-and-true Axial-tech fan design, with three fans working together to meet the thermal demands of NVIDIA’s new high-octane design. The fans rely on sleeve bearings and dual ball fan bearings to ensure a consistent increase in performance and longevity compared to other bearing types.
The fans on both sides rotate counterclockwise to reduce turbulence. Also, to eliminate unnecessary noise, the stop mode stops all fans when the GPU temperature drops below 50° and the power consumption is low.
